Hunter’s Raid Website Receives a Facelift
The Hunter’s Raid Committee has launched the all new Hunter’s Raid website that tells the compelling story of Union Gen. David Hunter march south from Cedar Creek near Winchester to drive out Confederate forces, lay waste to the Shenandoah Valley and destroy transportation facilities at Lynchburg in 1864. The committee received a Marketing Leverage Program grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation to help fund the project that was designed by InPrint Inc. in Vinton, VA.
